DMW boss, Davido may have cut corners to gain some degree of the glory he is currently enjoying and Karma seems to have initiated the process of taking its toll on him, as he’s been caught up in the “intellectual theft” web.
According to reports, the hook for latest single, “Nwa Baby,” was not originally composed by the singer. You would agree with me that “Nwa Baby’ is one of the most buzzing songs in the country right now. The DMW boss released Nwa Baby as his 3rd single of the year following the success of his second single “Assurance”. But the hook isn’t his.
New information reaching us suggests that the singer stole the melody of the hook from the popular singer, Solidstar who dropped an album last year titled W.E.E.D and “Nwa Baby” was one of the tracks on the album and featured 2baba. A recent listen to the song revealed that the hook to Solidstar’s 2017 version is the same as that of Davido new single.
Davido has been silent about this accusation. But fans no doubt that the allegation is true, as it was recently discovered that the private jet he claimed to be his own, actually belongs to his father.
