The artist set a record with his smash hit One Dance from his latest album Views, as it took the new No. 1 title on the Billboard 200.
The song which features WizKid and Kyla climbed comfortably from the second to first spot.
This makes it Drake’s first No. 1 as a lead artist on the Billboard Hot 100. (Dated May 21). This also means Wizkid has made his first ever Number 1 on Billboard 100.
As previously reported, Views debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with his best sales week and a record-setting weekly streaming total.
Wizkid over the weekend announced the signing of Ghanaian musicians R2Bees, Efya and Mr. Eazi to his newly established record label Starboy Record.
