Nana Dubwise, Producer of Reggae Embassy on Fiifi Selah’s show on Pluzz 89.9fm has dropped some controversial comments about the dancehall scene. He thinks the Ghana Dancehall scene is “too quiet” after the biggest beef between Samini and Shatta Wale got squashed few months ago. He badly wants the Episode & Vybrant Faya beef to go on.

Below were Nana Dubwise’s comments;
“Dancehall without clash is like church without clergy. We need to get the scene active. I like the drift between Episode and Vybrant Faya but all of a sudden dem cool down di fire. The other genres call it beef but we call it CLASH or WAR. The scene is too quiet. Our Dancehall artistes fear too much. They sit on radio and TV and talk plenty but are afraid to clash. We can do it in a healthy way to put money in pockets. They should stop the long chat and clash one on one on stage. Let’s know who is who but if they can’t get into tight competition they better go do gospel or agbadza or kpanlogo“, Nana Dubwise concluded.
The biggest music beef recorded in Ghana was between Samini and Shatta Wale which lasted for almost a decade, but it has piped down between the two.
