To prove that he is serious about that, he has featured three of Ghana’s finest musicians namely Kofi Kinaata, Samini and Edem on his three new singles which were released last month.
On Lion, produced by Eyoh and featuring Samini, Shilo tells his enemies he is back after a long break and those who thought he was musically dead should take back their words.
On the 3:54 minutes song, Shilo who claims he is the best Ga rapper, thanks God for blessing him with the talent to rap.
He sings about not being rich but hopeful to be wealthy when God blesses him so he could ride in big cars and live in big mansions as well.
Samini comes in to sing the chorus saying, “Every day, we give thanks and praise to God because He is great and does everything in His time.”
See Me Fly featuring Edem and Vancy talks about the difficulty Shilo went through before finally making it. He raps that there were times he slept on an empty stomach but now he can afford anything he wants.
Shilo sings about how he went on his knees asking God for forgiveness and he is grateful God did not turn His back on him but granted his heart desires.
On his part, Edem raps about people disrespecting him because he had nothing back in the day, but God has made him successful.
Shilo’s delivery on the songs shows he’s still got his rap skill. His delivery of punch lines in both Twi and Ga is quite commendable.
Shilo who said he is back for good, is known for songs such as Hello, Soo Far So Good, 024419 and Gbuu.
