The Board Chairman of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs), Nii Ayittey-Hammond, has described as ‘creative’ a song by music duo, Gallaxy which talks about this year’s event.
Few days after winners of the various categories were announced, Gallaxy jumped on E-4o’s ‘Yup’ beat which had been use by Sarkodie for his ‘Choices’ mixtape, to express their views on how the entire event went.
The views also included who they thought deserved or did not deserve to win certain categories.
Speaking on Rhythmz A-Z on Joy FM, Nii Ayittey-Hammond said the loves the creativity in the song.
“I enjoyed it when I heard it. I downloaded it, I enjoyed the creative aspect of the song,” he mentioned.

Commenting on the views expressed in the song, the Board Chairman said he respects opinions of people and will therefore not be peeved.
“For the content, it’s his opinion and I don’t begrudge anybody for their opinion,” he noted.
The 2016 VGMAs held at the Accra International Conference Centre on May 7, saw EL crowned Artiste of the Year. He also won Hip-hop/Hiplife Artiste of the Year, Music Video of the Year, Afro-pop Song of the Year and Music Producer of the Year.
Bisa Kdei who was also tipped to win Artiste of the Year went home with four awards: Highlife Song of the Year, Most Popular Song of the Year, Highlife Artiste of the Year and Album of the Year.
