Yemi Alade has debunked claims made in favor of some artistes who fans have tagged the number one in Nigeria. According to Yemi Alade, no artiste is number one, as various pull the same crowd as the tagged number one.
Yemi Alade made this declaration during a chit-chat with Misi of Hot 98.3 FM Lagos where the subject of who the number one artiste in Nigeria is. As opposed to claims that Wizkid, Davido, and Tiwa Savage make the list of the number one artistes in Nigeria, Yemi Alade thinks none of the afore-mentioned can exactly be tagged number one.
Yemi Alade explained that the top five artistes in Nigeria pull basically the same crowd and command basically the same traffic. She used herself as an example, saying she pulls the same crowd like Davido and Wizkid and can sell out O2 Arena in London without breaking a sweat. She added that some might not believe her but, that it’s the truth.
Fans have seconded Yemi Alade’s opinion, confirming that Yemi is in the habit of selling out shows outside of Nigeria and is no different from Davido and Wizkid. Over to you guys. Do you stand with Yemi Alade on this one???
