The practice, which took over our streets in the early 2000s and went on a halt, has risen on our streets at Night again and this time blood has taken a central part of their methodology. People are not just losing their valuable items but also getting wounded by these hungry mobsters for no reason.

Pregow, a young fante rapper who is passionate about his music career got his share of the “kwashee cake “ last Friday night on his way back from the studio.

The rapper who is based at Ofankor in Accra in an interview with Dj Yoga of Breeze 90.9 fm said some group of individuals on four motor bikes met him around LOMLAVA a suburb of Ofankor and attacked him with knifes and took his money and phones from him and beat him till he went unconscious and was bleeding. He was later found and rushed to Achimota hospital by some neighbors who saw him lying unconscious by the roadside.He said the incident happened around 11pm when he left Dr Ray Beat studio at Taifa to his House.
Pregow Said this incident wont prevent him from achieving his dream. He will continue to pursue his music career and bring more good music to the fans. He is going to record a song that is going to create awareness on motorbike robbers and help Ghana police wipe the “kwashee boys” off our streets. He also advised all Ghanaians to take precaution at night because it can happen to you too.
