In the days when Timaya found his way to the spotlight, there were allegations that the Bayelsa singer was a part of the-then terrorist group known as “Militants.” However, there was no proof to back up the allegations.
It’s been over ten years now since Timaya made it to the spotlight and thus far, he has not been linked to anything shady, except for his arrogant and violent lifestyle during his early days on the music scene. Analysts explained his behavior to be the resultant effect of sudden wealth, especially when it comes to a poverty-stricken fellow.
Timaya was no doubt a poverty-stricken fellow before he suddenly made great wealth, and the source of his sudden wealth was questioned, many alleging that he belonged to the Niger Delta Militant group that were unsettling the nation as at that time. But talks on that subject faded when no one could come up with concrete proof.
But now, some people seem to believe that they finally have proof after seeing the singer’s photo which he shared on IG. Timaya is seen sitting next to a gun identified as berretta and a short gun. Fans now say the allegations were true after all.
