Kwaw Kese has questioned how organisers arrived at their figures to declared “Hand To Mouth” the Hip-pop Song of the Year when “Yakubu” was more popular and bigger.

Hiplife/hip-pop artiste, Kwaw Kese is unhappy that Sarkodie’s “Hand To Mouth” was adjudged Hip-pop Song of the Year over his “Yakubu” at the 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

 

In series of tweets, Kwaw Kese described the development as shameful. He questioned how organisers arrived at their figures to pronounce “Hand To Mouth” the Hip-pop Song of the Year when “Yakubu” was more popular and bigger.

Sarkodie’s “Hand To Mouth” beat competition from EL’s All Black ft Pappy Kojo & Joey B, Flowking Stone’s Fire Bon Dem, Omar Sterling’s Nineteen Ninety and Ay3 Late from Pappy Kojo.

The song also won Sarkodie Rapper of the Year.
