Gospel musicians, Sonnie Badu

SP Sarpong beat competition from Obaapa Christie, Joe Mettle, Nicholas Omane Acheampong, Patience Nyarko and Preachers.

UK-based Ghanaian gospel musician, Sonnie Badu has stated that his colleague Superintendent Kofi Sarpong really deserves the Gospel Artiste of the Year at the 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

 

Sonnie Badu who was watching the event from the comfort of his home, in a post on Instagram congratulated SP Sarpong for winning, adding that he was proud of the “African Borborbor” hit-maker.

“Now I can sleep !! You finally got your hands on it… I am so so proud of you … Very very well deserved …#GospelArtistOfTheYear ..#SPKS,” his post read.
